You feel a burning curiosity to see what that dome holds. Besides, there might be people there who can tell you where or even who you are! So you skirt the pool, conscious of you light, bouncy step, until you are at the mouth of the stream. The water's only about a foot deep, so you could cross it, but it is moving pretty fast. On the other hand, it looks to be about six feet wide and with the way you walk, you feel you could probably jump it.
